Letter to the Editor: Don’t buy in to the lies

Just read an article in The Epoch Times that quotes John Christy, professor of atmospheric science at the University of Alabama.
Climate change advocates only have one viewpoint, that climate change is real, and no other opinion is wanted. They would have us believe we are on a death march because of fossil fuels.
In the article it was stated that the U.S. has entered "uncharted territory and life as we know it is under siege." But, not all scientists believe that. The World Economic Forum and countless government leaders, say "CO2 concentrations are too high and that the continued burning of fossil fuels, which release CO2, will cause people to die." They propose that our problems can be solved by wind and solar energy and eating less meat and through the elimination of using fossil fuels. For the life of me I cannot understand the eating less meat theory, unless it includes gas producing Mexican foods. The animals we use for food; cows, chickens, etc. will still be around and procreating. They will be over-populated and starve.
Patrick Moore, chairman and chief scientist of Ecosense Environmental, said "the climate change messaging is not based in fact. The whole thing is a total scam."
"There is actually no scientific evidence that CO2 is responsible for climate change over the eons."
He says that climate has continually changed; first it was global cooling, then global warming, then climate change and now disastrous weather.
"CO2 is portrayed now as the cause of damaging extreme weather," Mr. Christy also said. "Our research indicates these extremes are not becoming more intense or frequent, thus CO2 cannot be the cause of something not happening."
It is an attempt at controlling the populace for power, money and a distorted sense of "moral self-worth." According to the scientists, CO2 is actually plant food, which we give off and the plants need. They conversely give oxygen, which we need.
Only God could have provided such a balance. Commercial greenhouse growers increase the amount of CO2 to between 800 and 1200 ppm. To decrease CO2 to net zero is "collective suicide," according to Malgosia Askanas, senior research associate at Aurora Biophysics Research Institute.
It is becoming more apparent as the hysteria increases, that perhaps climate change proponents do not trust God. He does not need our help. Turn to him for answers and not the devil's lies.
