Letter to the Editor: Taking a bite out of climate radicals’ latest beef

Just heard about the WHO initiative to eat less beef to help with climate change. I am sick to death of hearing all of the lies about climate change, which is a contrived problem for those who have too much time on their hands. Of course, some of the climate change advocates either do not trust God to control everything, or possibly do not believe a God exists, which means they cannot trust what they think does not exist.

God put the animals on the earth for us to eat for nourishment. If some want to eat only vegetables, that is fine also.

As the old Wendy's commercial said where the elderly lady shouted out "Where's the BEEF?" we know where the beef is and we like it and intend to keep on eating it. It is our choice. The WHO, or whoever thinks they can control what we eat need to mind their own business. I am sure they are all not vegan and eat what they want. Is Big Brother going to be watching us for what we buy at the grocery stores? Are the Meat Police going to be watching everyone?

Americans....eat what you like. Yes, sometimes what we eat impacts our health, but that is our choice and no one else's. Over 150 years ago, buffalo hunters practically eliminated the buffalo herd. For years they were denigrated in the media and in history books as being interested in just killing the buffalo for their hides, but has that changed now? Should they be praised as farsighted heroes of climate change? Perhaps history should be rewritten, as the liberals want to do anyway. Cattle and buffalo may emanate gaseous fumes, but people do also. Just ask John Kerry who not only flies all over the world in the guise of fighting climate change, but also emanates his own fumes.

This whole farce is about control, power, and most importantly money. Those persons think they can control us and what they want us to do is just for us ... not them. There are two standards: one for them and one for us. We have far too many problems on this earth to worry about what people are eating or not eating. Sin is the number one problem. Turn to Jesus for the solution to all of our problems.
