Letter to the Editor: Ignoring Trump lies hypocritical

I had a good laugh when I read Rich Lowry's column titled "Why Biden Lies." He makes some valid points on some of Biden's claims but for an author who was silent on Trump's constant, breathtaking dishonesty, some of which led to the Jan. 6 insurrection, is the height of hypocrisy. For him to chronicle Trump's lies would take up two editions of the whole paper. His ignoring them would be comical if it wasn't so ridiculous.
I never believe everything a politician says, including Biden. I take it all with a grain of salt, assuming most of it is just meant for, as Lowry puts it, self-valorization. But to devote a complete diatribe on one politician in a sea of similar levels of politician dishonesty, especially from his predecessor, smacks of a targeted petty agenda that is unworthy of a serious columnist.
