The former president's abuse of the Constitution and the rule of law continues. The individual has been indicted on a total of ninety-one felonies in four different jurisdictions and arraigned on seventy-eight of those felonies in three of the four jurisdictions. The remaining arraignments in the fourth jurisdiction were scheduled for no later than Aug. 25, 2023. The individual is free on post-arraignment personal recognizance bond in the three jurisdictions under generous and minimal conditions and yet the individual continues to insult and threaten judges, prosecutors, and witnesses with impunity. This individual has made a mockery of the office of the Presidency and now is attempting to make a mockery of the state judiciaries of New York and Georgia and the judiciary of the Federal government.
If the former president respected our country, our Constitution, and the rules of civil and criminal law, he would demonstrate that respect by his actions and conduct. He has not done so by any measure or any account, and such omissions speak volumes regarding his values, his intentions, the substance of his character, and the deficiencies of his honor.
He's seventy-seven years old. He should know what proper conduct is.
