This letter is to draw attention to and stop Biden’s plan to grant 29 million illegal immigrants amnesty and allow them to collect Social Security benefits. These illegal immigrants will get $66,858 in net Social Security payments, to which they haven’t contributed and $60,431 in net Medicare Part A payments.

The average Social Security retirement benefits for Americans this year are calculated to be $21,924 but Biden wants Congress to begin providing Social Security and Medicare benefits to illegal immigrants who broke our immigration laws in coming here.

Should Biden grant amnesty to 10 million illegal immigrants, (the real number is closer to 29 million), it would cost Social Security and Medicare $1.3 trillion, which would cause cuts in Social Security and Medicare to Americans. Biden seeks to reward lawbreakers, treating them better than American citizens.

Under the U.S. Constitution, Congress controls our immigration laws. With the Senate so closely divided, a few no votes in the House can kill Biden’s plan.

That $1.3 trillion is about 6% of our gross domestic product being used to reward the illegal immigrants who broke our immigration laws. Biden is for open borders and for allowing anyone who enters the U.S. illegally to stay.

Biden has thus far: stopped construction on the border wall; ordered a halt to deportations in the final stages, even for dangerous criminal immigrants; released illegal immigrants into the U.S. who tested positive for covid and other infectious diseases; ended President Trump’s “Stay in Mexico” policy, which kept asylum seekers in Mexico, instead of allowing them to enter into the U.S.

Biden has rolled out the welcome mat to illegal immigrants who shouldn’t be here, and now wants to reward them for their lawbreaking by giving them a large piece of the Social Security and Medicare benefits that Americans have paid into over their lifetimes.

The U.S. is supposed to be a nation of immigrants who assimilate and respect the rule of law, not criminal illegal immigrants who flaunt our laws.

Everyone should contact their senators and representatives and tell them to oppose Biden’s plan to allow illegal immigrants to collect Social Security and Medicare and save them for American citizens who have earned benefits by paying into them over their lifetime.
