Just read a letter to the editor recently where the writer, while sincere, is sincerely wrong. Abortion is murder and it does stop a beating heart. The reference to Revelation 11: 7-11 refers to those saints who were brought back from the dead after the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

The breath of life can only be given by God Almighty. Yes, the “Gesundheit” phrase, meaning God Bless You, is a totally wrong assumption that when a person sneezes, their spirit might be expelled from the body.

Babies are born with a spirit given to them by God at conception. Just because they do not breathe in the womb does not makes them any less of a human being. All that they need in the womb is supplied to them by the mother.

To equate the knowledge that God possesses to what scientists have learned over time is blasphemy. While the “heart” was considered the center of emotions, it was not the actual physical heart they are talking about. It is a combination of the mind and our conscience that make up what we call “understanding with their hearts.”

No one thinks that the human heart does any more than cardiac function. While that might be the state of science in Biblical times, it most certainly was NOT the extent of God’s knowledge. God is all knowing and has always known everything. He knows everything from before the foundation of the Earth and certainly knows everything about our human bodies, since He was the one who created us. To say that God and his prophets did not even realize that blood fully circulated through the body is a lie. God has always known everything. While his prophets may not have known everything about blood circulation, the prophets are not the same as God. God is God. The prophets were men.

While the writer says he does not defend the killing of babies in the womb, there are millions of pro-choice (pro-death) activists who do.

The Bible was written by men inspired by God over a period of about 1600 years by 40 writers. They were not writing what they thought, but what God inspired them to write. The Bible is without error.
