I would like to respond to a letter in the March 27 newspaper, titled “Tricks of the Trade.”

Everyone is aware of Fox News being sued for $1.6 billion over statements they made concerning the 2020 election and allegations of Dominion voting machines “flipping votes.” As for Fox News not covering their own lawsuit, they are being wise, aware the fake news would deliberately misconstrue any statements they made during their coverage.

Also, NewsMax made similar statements over the 2020 election being stolen from Trump, not just Fox News.

Does anyone seriously believe CNN, MSNBC, etc. are serious news agencies? They constantly parrot Democratic propaganda to “entertain” their liberal base. It’s no wonder they suffer poor viewership.

As for Trump, repeating false statements during the 2016 and 2020 elections hoping everyone would eventually believe them, and him attempting to steal the 2020 election with no real evidence of fraud, it was because no one looked for fraud. Shamefully, the courts and even Trump-appointed judges “closed their eyes” and refused to see any evidence of fraud. The Republican controlled House should investigate any evidence of fraud.

How often did the Democrats and fake news accuse Trump of Russian collusion or instigating the Jan. 6 riots hoping Americans would eventually believe these falsehoods? Biden repeatedly employs the same technique.

As for one party doing what they accuse the other party of doing, it does happen. After all, Hillary Clinton and the Democrats accused Trump of Russian collusion while they themselves were colluding with the Russians to create the dirty dossier to destroy Trump.

In his Jan. 6 speech, Trump asked his supporters to “peacefully and patriotically march to the capitol to let your voices be heard.” The Democratic-run Jan. 6 committee deliberately edited the words “peacefully and patriotically” and “let your voices be heard” from the tape and falsely asserted Trump urged his supporters to riot. All the fake news ran with the story Trump initiated the riots, but not Fox News.

Thanks to House Republican investigations, we are learning it was Democrats who had the corrupt FBI plant undercover operatives in the crowd, along with Black Lives Matter insurgents and the Capitol Police, who spurred the crowd to riot on Jan. 6. Trump was innocent. The entire truth is slowly coming out. Unfortunately, Democrats can’t handle the truth.
