Letter to the Editor: Criticism unfounded

I’m amazed at the unfair, unfounded criticism of Fox News with several readers writing in alleging Fox News isn’t a serious news network, reporting stories that entertain their base. Actually Fox is one of the few legitimate news networks.
A case in point is Fox News recently reported the full story behind the Jan. 6 riots. The FBI and the D.C. Metro had planted undercover officers among the crowds chanting for the protesters to enter the capitol, beginning the rioting. Also, the crowds contained Black Lives Matter and Antifa insurgents spurring on rioting. Fox News is covering this factually, unlike the fake news networks who only mention the Jan. 6 riots in condemnation of Trump.
The Republican-controlled House Oversight Committee on the Jan. 6 riots is bringing new facts to light.
The fake news networks hardly mention the Hunter Biden laptop story except to falsely allege the laptop story is Russian disinformation. Fox News and Newsmax have been covering the story factually from the beginning.
During the 2016 election, only Fox News covered the Hillary Clinton email story factually. The fake news suppressed the story.
Years ago, the fake news reported on the Trayvon Martin shooting in Florida, painting the shooter, George Zimmerman as a racist, cold-bloodedly murdering Trayvon Martin. Zimmerman was acquitted at his trial, when it was proven he shot Martin in self-defense after Martin attacked him and was pounding Zimmerman’s head on the sidewalk. The fake news misreported the story to fit their liberal agenda. Fox News reported the story factually.
The same happened on the Kyle Rittenhouse shooting story when the fake news reported Rittenhouse was a racist for shooting three people, killing one, wounding two. At his trial, security camera footage showed the three men attempted to steal Rittenhouse’s rifle to kill him with it. Also shown was the man Rittenhouse killed had a gun and was about to kill Rittenhouse. The story raised a media frenzy because Rittenhouse used a politically incorrect AR-15. Fox News reported the story fairly, unlike the deceitful fake news.
Today’s fake news is the modern equivalent of Pravda in the old USSR, which broadcast only the side of the news the government wanted the populace to hear. Thank goodness for Fox News.
