Letter to the Editor: UNSAT designed to take guns

Regarding the letter titled “same old dystopian imagination” in Sunday, Aug,28 newspaper, the precept of the UN, Arms Trade Treaty (UNSAT) has been around since the 1980s, but it was Hillary Clinton (and later, John Kerry) finalizing language the treaty around 2014. Hilary, herself, removed the clause recognizing the U.S. Second Amendment,” right to bear arms, from the original language of the treaty. We know why. Unfortunately, Hilary was not an Arkansas housewife then, she was Obama’s secretary of state.
The UNSAT would force the registration of all firearms, which is currently illegal. Registration is the first step toward total firearm confiscation; as Canada is currently doing, having ratified the treaty.
It’s no coincidence. The nations pressuring the U.S. to ratify the UNSAT are dictatorships, China, Iran, Russia, etc., that subjugate their citizens.
CNN, MSNBC, etc. never cover the UNSAT story, because they desire Biden sneaking it into effect, without Americans being aware. If aware, Americans would be up in arms against the treaty. Fox news has covered the treaty, though not often enough.
If ratified by G7 senators, the UNSAT would be a treaty and the law of the land unable to be overturned in the courts, or by a future president, without ratification, requiring G7 senators.
Were the UNSAT put into effect, by executive flat, it would only be an agreement, subject to overturning by the courts or a future president.
Fox News factually covers all the news, unlike fake news. From the onset, Fox News reported the Trump-Russian collusion story was a hoax. Fox was correct.
Fox news (and Newsmax) covered the hunter Biden laptop story, unlike the fake news, which alleged the laptop story was Russian disinformation. The laptop story has proven true, vindicating fox news.
Fox News/and Newsmax) filmed Biden secretly shipping illegal immigrants around the country, “in the dead of night.” Even with video evidence showing the illegals boarding buses and planes, said letter writer wrote, “It wasn’t happening.” The fake news neglected to cover the story.
Writing for Fox News would be fine if they would allow me to continue writing the straight facts, something fake news would never allow.
I enjoy writing letters to the editor locally where we can agree or politely and respectfully disagree.
