Letter to the Editor: Backing Dennis for Belpre City Council

Our November election is fast approaching. Although this is an off year for the national folks, we still have important issues to address here at home.
Belpre, Ohio, has been blessed over the past few years with major economic growth for a small city. We need qualified people to step up and fill the council seats that are open. We are fortunate a young person like Lyndsay Dennis has thrown her hat in the ring for city council. A young lady that is a mother, a Belpre grad, with a degree in accounting. Lyndsay has served as Homecoming Coordinator, volunteers as treasurer for two local organizations while employed as the Events and Membership Manager at the Parkersburg Art Center.
As your current mayor, I am totally behind Lyndsay in this and offer my full support. Please get out and vote, and please remember Lyndsay Dennis as you cast your vote for City Council.
