Kindness of strangers
I recently had the misadventure of falling on black ice at a Vienna store parking lot. Once I got my bearings, all I saw and heard were the kindness of strangers. Hands handing me tissues and wipes to clean up the awful mess from my busted nose. Words of encouragement and offers of assistance to call for help. Arms which lifted me safely to my feet. Another who followed me in route to the ER.
It’s comforting, in today’s world, that kindness still exists from names I do not know.
Thank you again to all of those who came to my aid last Friday. It was truly appreciated.
