Marjorie H. Rutherford

Marjorie Helen “Margy” Rutherford, 86, of Washington, WV, passed away July 16, 2025, at her residence. She was born Dec. 6, 1938 in Parkersburg, a daughter of the late Leona Bell Shields Simers. She is survived by her husband Terry Rutherford, son David Harter and several grandchildren. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by daughters: Brenda and Kim Harter and son Bill Harter. There will be no visitation or funeral. Mrs. Rutherford will be laid to rest in the IOOF Cemetery at Cairo, WV. Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg is assisting the family with arrangements.

Craige Michael Seals, 76, of Coolville, passed away peacefully July 9, 2025, at Arcadia Valley Nursing Center. He was born July 17, 1948, in Parkersburg, to the late Irvin Eugene Seals and Naomi Maxine Wallace Henthorn. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brother Creighton Henthorn and sister Bobbie Jo Wilson. He is survived by his wife Rita Welsh Seals, sons George Carpenter of Belleville, WV, John Seals of Paso Robles, CA, daughters Sherri Seals of Coolville, Marsha Griffith of Belpre, grandchildren Elizabeth and Levi Griffith and Faith and Isaiah Seals, sisters ...
