Karen Lou Mathers, 78, of Raleigh, NC (formerly of Parkersburg, WV), passed away Saturday, August 30, 2025 at her residence surrounded by family. She was the youngest of five daughters of Kelmer Wheeler (K.W.) and Dessie Opal Fox. Karen was a graduate of Harrisville High School and had worked at Broida’s, Stone and Thomas and retired from Wood County Bank (now Huntington Banks). Randall L Redman, Jr., 58, of Alma passed away Tuesday September 2, 2025 at his residence. Graveside services will be Friday 3 p.m. at Goode Cemetery in Kentuck, WV. Dale Edwin Vandergrift, 78, of Parkersburg, WV passed away surrounded by his family on September 1, 2025. He was born on October 1, 1946, to the late Floyd E. and Margaret J. (Knicely) Vandergrift. Dale enjoyed spending time with his family. Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife, Phyllis Vandergrift, four children and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
