Dorothy Ann (Dottie) Daugherty, 88, of Marietta passed away at her home surrounded by her family. Funeral services are 1 p.m. Wednesday at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with Pastor Teddy Tackett officiating. Burial will follow in East Lawn Memorial Park. Visitation is from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Doris L. Brannon Davis, 93, Harrisville, died Thursday, Nov. 27, 2025, in Parkersburg. A service will be held at noon today at Bethany Church on Prunty Road outside of Harrisville. Earl Eugene “Jake” Dowler, 72, of Parkersburg, WV, died Saturday November 29, 2025 at his residence. He was born in Parkersburg, WV a son of the late Harley Edyrl and Alice Evelyn (Kimble) Dowler. He worked at Mountain State Steel for seventeen years before retiring from Parkersburg Utility Board and was a faithful servant at Landmark Baptist Church. Craig Hank Shaver died on November 26, 2025. He was born on Jan. 14, 1951 to Peck and Ruth Shaver of Parkersburg, West Virginia. Craig was an Army veteran who enjoyed gardening and spending time being a Boy Scouts Leader.
