Born February 20, 1938, in Vineland, NJ, she was a daughter of the late Philip Joseph Pease and Ida Helene Toulson Pease and spent her teenage years with them in Parkersburg. In 1958 she married W. Dean DeLaMater, also of Parkersburg. They moved to Weirton in 1960, and she lived there until 2012, when she moved to be near her daughter, Susan.
