Donald Melvin Shepler, 84, Belmont, West Virginia, passed away Tuesday, December 30, 2025, surrounded by his children. He was born December 2, 1941, in Greensburg, PA, the only child of the late Charles Melvin and Catherine Marie Meyers Shepler. Don was a 1961 graduate of Hempfield High School. He worked at International Paper and Walworth Valve Company in Greensburg, PA, until he moved his family to Belmont in 1978 to work for Allegheny Power at the Willow Island Power Station.
