She was born on July 21, 1936, in Washington, WV a daughter of the late James Carl and Ima (Lucille) Anthony McKibben. She worked as Head Secretary for the Los Angeles Unified School District, was a member of Fairview United Methodist Church and was an avid quilter and member of the Helping Hands Quilt Guild in Belleville.
