Terry Alan Richards, 76, of Mineral Wells, WV, departed this life peacefully at home on Wednesday, September 9, 2026.
Terry was born April 5, 1950, in Parkersburg, WV, the son of Clifford E. Richards and Dorothy L. Richards of Ellenboro, WV, both of whom preceded him in death.
Terry is survived by his wife of 38 years, Susan (Region) Richards of Mineral Wells, WV; his brother, Robert “Bob” Richards (Debbie); and his sister, Debby Collins (Brock).
He was preceded in death by his parents, as well as his brother, Mick Richards, and his sister, Carol Riddle.
Terry leaves behind a family who will forever carry his memory in their hearts: his five children, Michael, Jonathan, Katherine, Lucas, and Terra, and his eight grandchildren, Noah, Shia, Gemma, Gabriel, Morgan, Levi, Brenna, and Jaycie.
A service of remembrance will be held at 6 PM, Friday, Oct. 9, 2026 at Raiguel Funeral Home in Harrisville, WV with the Pastor Shane Ward officiating. Visitation will take place prior to the service from 4-6 PM. A private graveside service will take place in the Cairo IOOF Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
