Shirley Ann Gilchrist, 90 of Vienna, WV, passed away September 30, 2026, at the Willows Center.
She was born in Parkersburg November 4, 1935, the daughter of the late William and Evelyn Keller Givens.
She had at one time worked for Sears, The Parkersburg Rig and Reel and had been an Avon Sales Representative for 35 years. She loved to shop and take car rides but above all she loved and was devoted to her family and her Golden Retriever, “Dotty”. She was a longtime faithful member of the 36th. Street Church of Christ and was active in the Nursing Home Candy and Card Program.
She is survived by her children, Lisa Miller (Tom) of Williamstown, WV. and Lyle Gilchrist of Vienna, WV. One grandson whom she adored, Corey Gilchrist (Tanna) of Parkersburg and one great grandson, Laine Gilchrist.
She was preceded in death by her husband Lyle Bruce Gilchrist in 1999 and her sister, Patty Norris.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 1:00pm at the Leavitt Funeral Home in Parkersburg with Evangelists Doug Kashorek and Aidan Klingler officiating. Burial will be in the Sunset Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Tuesday from 12:00pm until 1:00pm.
