In Loving Memory of John (Jack) Bohan
Jack passed away peacefully, leaving behind a lifetime of memories and the people who meant the most to him.
Above all else, Jack loved his family. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend whose greatest joy came from spending time with those he loved. His family was his pride and his greatest accomplishment, and he treasured every moment they shared.
Jack had a love for the outdoors and enjoyed the simple pleasures of life. He could often be found fishing, hunting, wood working, enjoying a round of golf or watching his favorite Mountaineer team.
Those who knew Jack will remember his generous heart, his love for his family, his appreciation for the outdoors, and the many stories and memories he shared along the way. He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, hard work, and cherished memories that will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Jean, and his three children: Mike (Missy) Bohan of Charleston, WV, Michelle Bohan of Westerville, OH, and Melissa (Jeff) Fowler of Westerville, OH. His legacy lives on in his 6 grandchildren: Taylor (Brett) Strickland, Madison Bohan, Cori Bohan, Kacee Bohan, Hannah Fowler, and Jack Fowler.
He is preceded in death by his parents James & Grace Bohan, his brother, Jim Bohan, and his grandson, Brock Alexander Bohan.
He retired after 34 years of dedicated service to DuPont, where he built a respected career and formed many lasting friendships. He was also proud to serve his country as a member of the Army Reserves.
Jack will be deeply missed, but his memory will forever remain with his family and friends. His life was a gift, and the love he gave will never be forgotten.
A celebration of life will be held in the spring.
