Carol M. Burge, 87 of Parkersburg passed away September 29, 2026 at the Camden Clark Medical Center.
She was born July 17, 1939, in Parkersburg, the daughter of the late Carl M. and Vada Toomey Berry.
Carol was a 1958 graduate of Parkersburg High School and had worked for Dudley’s Florist for several years. She loved and always enjoyed camping trips with her husband and family. Carol loved her family and they were the center of her life, there were countless family vacations, holidays and meals that were spent together. She was a charter member of the New Hope Baptist Church.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 68 years. G. Arden Burge of Parkersburg. Her children, Dean Burge (Kathy) and Diane Anderson (Steven). Eight grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Monday at 1:30pm at the Leavitt Funeral Home in Parkersburg with Pastor Troy Nesselrode officiating. Burial will be in the Parkersburg Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Monday from 11:30am until service time.
