Leota Mae Maston: Born January 16, 1951, and passed September 16, 2026. 2nd Timothy 4: 7-8 "7 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. 8 Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day - and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing." Leota Mae Maston, age 75, of Belmont, WV, passed away September 16, 2026. She was born January 16, 1951, to the late Hershel and May Tice Maston in Parkersburg, WV, the first of six children. Surviving her are David (Teresa) Maston of Pointe Lookout WV and their children and grandchildren: Ryan (Jessica) Maston, of Pointe Lookout, WV, their children: Connor Maston, Xavier Maston and William Maston. Ashley (Marc) Anderson of St Marys, WV, their children: Issac Anderson, and Andre Anderson. Roger Maston of Belmont WV. James (Sherry) Maston of St. Marys, WV and their children and grandchildren: Katie (Tad) Forshey of St. Marys, WV, their children: Olivia Deweese of St. Marys, WV, Halle Deweese (Sharkie Lewis) of St. Marys, WV, Shane Deweese of Belmont, WV, and Lainey Deweese of St. Marys, WV. Robby Maston (Jill) and son, Griff Maston of Holly Springs, NC. Karen Maston Brannon of Nitro, WV and her daughter Alexandra McDonald (Jacob) of Charleston, WV. Leota is also survived by many cousins. Leota was preceded in death by her dear brother Hershel Douglas Maston (Dougie). Leota was a Proud graduate of St. Marys High School with the Class of 1969. Also, a Proud graduate of Washington State Community College in their Medical Lab Technology and Phlebotomist program. As per her wishes, Leota will be cremated and a private family Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of your choice in her honor.
