Elaine Pearl (Toney) Casey, 68, of Lewisburg, WV passed away peacefully on the evening of September 16, 2026 at Charleston Area Medical Center. She was born on December 3, 1957 in Parkersburg, WV to the late Herbert and Wanda (Bell) Toney.
Elaine was always the life of the party with her infectious smile and lust for life. She was drawn to the water and spent many years in Florida, cruising the Intercoastal Waterway, fishing, bowling, and camping at the Hunt Club.
Elaine is survived by her one true love of 44 years, Tom Casey; sons Dusty (Danielle) Dickel of Spencer, WV and Joey (Jody) Dickel of Charleston, WV; stepson Chad Casey of Jacksonville, FL; grandchildren Skilah Cassidy, Joseph Kelley, and Nathan Chapman; many special nieces and nephews; and her dearest friend, Sharon Wigal.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved sister, Janice Fordyce; brothers, Roger Roberts, David Toney, and Keith Toney; and her nephews Jed and Toad Fordyce.
Elaine's final contribution to the world was to donate her body to WVU's School of Medicine. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
