Debra "Debbie" Kay Duffelmeyer, 68, of Williamstown, WV, passed away peacefully at her residence under the care of hospice on Wednesday, September 23, 2026.
She was born on November 24, 1957, in Clarksburg, WV, a daughter of the late Richard Wayne Golden and Molly Joan Stonebreaker.
Debbie graduated from Liberty High School, Class of 1976. Throughout her working years, she served as a tax clerk with the Harrison County Sheriff's Office, Quaker State Production Office in Belpre, OH in accounting and retired as the clerk/conservator with the Wood County Sheriff's Office. She was a member of North Parkersburg Baptist Church.
On July 1, 1978, Debbie married Michael "Mike" Duffelmeyer, and together they shared 48 years of marriage filled with family, memories, and a life-built side by side. In addition to her husband, Debbie is survived by their son, Michael L. Duffelmeyer and wife Megan of Parkersburg; two beloved grandchildren, Michael Aiden and Levi James, who brought tremendous joy to her life; two siblings, Linda Golden Criss and husband Tim of Clarksburg and John Golden and wife Lynn of Charleston; sister-in-law, Sharon B. Stilson and husband William "Bill"; brother-in-law, Mark Duffelmeyer; nieces and nephews, Conner Golden, Kylie Golden, Timothy R. Criss and Lindsey Criss; and several additional nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Debbie was preceded in death by her sister-in-law, Justin "Tina" Ruth Duffelmeyer, in 1974.
Debbie found happiness in the simple things that made life special. She enjoyed driving, shopping, playing Bunco and other card games, and spending time in Salem. She especially looked forward to the Bristol Reunion, where familiar faces, stories, and treasured memories brought family and friends together. Debbie also had a love for flowers and gardening, finding peace and enjoyment in watching the beauty she nurtured grow around her.
Above all, Debbie treasured her family. The years she shared with Mike, the pride she had in her son, and the love she held for her grandchildren were among the greatest blessings of her life. Her presence, the memories she created, and the love she gave so freely will remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Family and friends will be received at Davis Funeral Home - Salem on Sunday, September 27, 2026 from 12:00 PM until 6:00 PM. Visitation will continue the following day on September 28, 2026 from 9:00 AM until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 AM, with Dr. Michael Hornor officiating. Interment will follow at K of P Cemetery, Salem.
