Mark Allen Selby, 68, passed away August 9, 2026, at Belpre Landing Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation. He was born December 1, 1957, to Peggy Uhl (Pullins) and the late Howard Milton Selby.
Mark was an avid fisherman, golfer, and sports fan. He spent most of his time fishing in Florida, where he owned and operated Selby Steel, building steel caste pools for residential and commercial use. When watching sports, he always cheered on the Pittsburgh Steelers. Mark also had a deep love and connection to all kinds of music.
Along with his mother, Mark is survived by his sister Valerie Pittman and step-sisters Cheryl Uhl, and Patricia Jumper.
Along with his father, Mark is preceded in death by his step-father Charles Uhl.
As per Mark’s wishes, no services will take place and his remains will be cremated and spread by the ocean, where he loved to fish so much.
