Judith Ann Davis, 78, of Mineral Wells passed away August 21, 2026 at her residence. She was born on August 9, 1948 in Huntington, WV a daughter of the late Neace Lester Carnes and Ada May (Jenkins) Carnes.
Judith was a kind and sweet woman who would help anyone. She never had anything negative to say, and was always a positive light in the lives of everyone who knew her. She loved her home church Landmark Baptist that she attended for more than 30 years. In her free time, she enjoyed keeping her hands busy with things like sewing and basket weaving, and spending time with her dog, Roxy. Judith loved being a grandmother and great grandmother, and had a deep love for all of her grandchildren.
She is survived by her children Kim Casteel (Dave), Kevin Davis, Candy Bailey (Jeff), and Richard Davis, her grandchildren Chad Buffington (Nikki), Kate Roe, Judith Ada May Davis, Tyler Bailey, Josie Joy (Nate), Brenna Bailey, Devon Vance, and Jared Davis, her great grandchildren Harley, Wyatt, and Colton, her sister Sharon Gum, and her lifelong special friend Linda Elschlager.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years Fredrick Randolph Davis, as well as her sister Jackie Powers.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, August 25, 1:00 PM at Landmark Baptist Church with Pastor Michael Lamb officiating.
Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 25 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Landmark Baptist.
