Jared Michael Efaw, age 32, of St. Marys, WV, went to be with the lord on Saturda, August 15, 2026. He was born in Norfolk, Virginia on June 26, 1994, to Matthew and Kristine (Maki) Efaw.
Jared was a St. Marys High School graduate, the class of 2012. He worked as a chemical operator at Momentive. He was an avid golfer, enjoyed fishing and loved watching football, especially the Bengals. He enjoyed his online gaming group and was an admin of his own Madden fantasy football league. He most enjoyed spending time with his family, especially long days riding side-by-sides together.
Jared is survived by his loving parents Matt and Kristine; brothers, Cameron (Danielle) Efaw and Jayten Efaw; nephew, Archer; niece, Alaya; grandparents, John and Janet Efaw; aunt, Michele Maki; special cousin Andrew Sutherland; and many special friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mike and Pam Maki; aunt, Tabitha Holt; and cousin, Brandon Sutherland.
A memorial service will be held Friday August 21, 2026, at 6:00 P.M. at Ingram Funeral Home in St. Marys, WV. Visitation for friends and family will be from 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to "C.O.R.E." Center for Organ Recovery and Education.
