Betty Lou Timmons, 96, of St. Marys WV, passed away on August 15, 2026. She was born in St. Marys, WV on February 27, 1930, to Asa Wilson and Audra Williamson. Betty graduated from St. Marys High School, the class of 1947. She was a homemaker for many years while raising her children, and in later years worked for the former Colin Anderson Center in St. Marys. She was a member of the Dewey Avenue Church of Christ. Betty is survived by her two daughters: Sue Skinner, and Becky (John) Hinton; one son: Kirk Timmons; grandchildren: Zachary (Mandy) Lamp, Matthew (Jennifer) Lamp, Kelly (Brian) Weigle, Adam (Heather) Skinner, Jason (Molly) Timmons, Asa Timmons and Juan Timmons; great-grandchildren: Tyson Lamp, Rebecca Lamp, Cora Cook, Marlee Teeters, Mattelyn Lamp, Mason Skinner, Tyler Skinner, Lucas Skinner, Kenzlynn Skinner, Eliott Timmons; one sister: Pat Hays. She was proceeded in death by her parents; husband: Walter Timmons; and seven siblings: Virginia Demoss, Truman Wilson, Claude Wilson, and Infant siblings, Edward, Eddie, Bill, and Kay. A funeral service will be held Wednesday August 19, 2026, at 11:00 A.M. at Dewey Avenue Church of Christ, officiated by Dan Kessinger. Visitation for family and friends will be held Tuesday August 18, 2026, from 5:00 8:00 P.M. at Ingram Funeral Home, and Wednesday from 10:00 A.M. 11:00 A.M at the church prior to the service.
