Charles Amos Lott

Charles Amos Lott, 88, of Parkersburg passed away July 3, 2026 at the Wyngate Assisted Living. He was born on February 2, 1938 in Vienna, WV a son of the late Charles and Celia Trippett Lott.

He worked at GE Plastics until he retired. Him and his wife were both members of Crossroads United Methodist Church. He enjoyed golf and playing with the senior league at Woodridge. He was also a lifelong member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles.

He is survived by his two sons Mark A. Lott (Tami Waring) of Charlotte NC, Larry E. Lott (Stephanie) of Parkersburg WV, two grand-daughters Mallory Bunner (Zachary) of Lubeck WV, Courtney Lott of Parkersburg WV, two great grand-daughters Jolene Bunner, Roseabella Bunner, along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Norma Sole Lott, two sisters Lorena Botta, JoAnn Kirk, along with one brother, Richard Lott.

Funeral services will be Wednesday 1 pm at the Leavitt Funeral Home of Parkersburg with Pastor Tim Cinnamon officiating.

Burial will follow at Sunset.

Visitation will be held Tuesday 5-7 pm at the funeral home.
