Jess Dewayne Stevens

Jess Dewayne Stevens, of Kissimmee, FL, passed away peacefully in the care of Lakeland Regional Hospital’s hospice care unit on Thursday, June 18, 2026. Jess was born February 5, 1956, to James Wilber Stevens and Naomi Jean Shock Stevens, both of whom preceded him in death. He is also preceded by his brother-in-law, Randall L. Gates, and Joann Cyr, with whom he spent 25 years. He is survived by his siblings, Judith L. Stevens Gates-Holmes and Jerry A. Stevens (Darby), both of Williamstown, WV. He is also survived by nephew, Schad Gates (Brooke) of Pensacola, FL, niece Mikki Gates Larch (Bryan) of Hurricane, WV, great-nephews Asher Larch and James Larch, great-niece Cara Gates, and first wife Jan Stevens. Jess grew up in Williamstown, WV and is a 1974 graduate of Williamstown High School. Arrangements are pending at this time.
