James Harold Wright Jr.

James Harold Wright Jr., 68 of Vienna, WV, passed away May 27, 2026.

He was born in Parkersburg, WV, August 15, 1957, the son of James Harold Wright Sr. and Peggy Ann Caplinger Wright.

He was a U.S. Army veteran and had worked for Corning-Schott Glass and PACTIV.

He had a great sense of humor and never met a stranger. He enjoyed helping people and was a handyman that everyone depended on. He loved his family and was a wonderful brother, father and grandfather.

He is survived by his children, James Wright of Vienna, Jessica Archer (Ryan) of Belleville and Joel Wright (Tiffany) of Parkersburg. His grandchildren, Irelynn and Isaiah Wright, Rylee, Emma and Easton Archer and Addie Wright. His sister, Joyce Patterson (Dan) of Parkersburg. His brothers, Larry Miller of Parkersburg and Steven Miller (Karen) of Warsaw, Indiana. The Mother of his children and friend for life, Joyce Wright of Vienna. A special friend, Angie Drake and her children Wes and Stacy and their children, Caden, Logan and Ethan.

Per his request there will be no visitation or services at this time.
