Daniel Haig Cooper

Daniel Haig Cooper, of Parkersburg, passed away June 16, 2026. Daniel was born October 1, 1940, the son of Jim (Orris) and Fanny Cooper and his birthmother Ruby B. Hays.

Dan was a 1958 Graduate of PHS and a graduate of Marietta College with a B.S. in Business. He was employed by Ames Company for 31 years and served as Human Resource Manager.

He is survived by his wife Ann, his daughter Abby and by grandson Zachary Nicholas and his father Michael Nicholas.

Dan was an active member of First Lutheran Church. He was proud of his 25 years of volunteer service with SW Resources.

Family Services will be held at a later date. His ashes will be interred in the columbarium of the church.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Mid-Ohio Valley Cremation Society.
