Terry L. Gobel, 77, passed away in his home, while in hospice care on May 5, 2026. There will be no service. He was born July 12, 1948, in Parkersburg, WV. He served in the military for two years at Fort Bragg. He was employed at Montgomery Ward for 19 years, for ten years at Murray’s Sheet Metal, and 25 years at Gray Construction. He was a member of Laborer’s Local Union 1085 of Parkersburg.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Darl Gobel Sr. and Alice June Gobel, and sister Darlene Brown. He is survived by his wife Kimberli Gobel, two children, Melissa Gobel-Harris (Michele Reynolds) and Stuart Gobel (Kelly Gobel). He is survived by five grandchildren, Nicholas Rose, Ashely Rose, Chris Bennett, Teresa Harris and Olivia Farson (Colt), great grandchild Seth Charle, two sisters, Beverly Thorn (Carl Alkire) and Linda Casey (Greg Casey), and brother Darl Gobel Jr.
