Michael D. Terrell

Michael D. Terrell, 76, of Parkersburg, passed away May 2, 2026, at his residence.

He was born in Parkersburg the son of the late Cecil Terrell and Iris Hopkins Terrell.

Mike graduated from Parkersburg High School in 1968 and served in the U.S. Army. He had been employed by McClinton Chevrolet in the Parts Department. He enjoyed the outdoors, doing yard work, working on cars, watching movies and spending time with his dogs, “Tucker” and “Teddy.”

He is survived by his daughters, Stacy D. Terrell and Megan M. Terrell both of Parkersburg. His brother, Pat Terrell of Walker, WV. His sisters, Sharon Woodyard of Parkersburg and Loris Brown of Georgia.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Debra Kay Jones Terrell; One brother, Bill Terrell and two sisters, Karen Yeager and Darlene Martin.

Graveside services will be Thursday at 11:00am at the Evergreen North Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5:00-8:00 pm at the Leavitt Funeral Home in Parkersburg.
