Louise Ann “Weezie” Harris, 82, of Williamstown, passed away May 7, 2026, at her residence. She was born June 4, 1943, a daughter to the late Lloyd and Helena Tennant (Brewer).

She was an avid reader of novels, found joy in music and bingo, and cherished time spent with her grandchildren. She was an assistant housing manager for many years at Unity Housing for senior citizens.

Surviving Louise are her children Rebecca Garvin (Kent) of Morgantown, WV, Joel Harris of Phoenix, AZ, and Misti Harris-Bright (Dwayne) of Charleston, SC; grandchildren Jared and Ian Garvin, Danyelle and Eric Tennant, and Leah Bright; great-grandchildren Mollie Cooper-Yerkovich (Chris), Haley and Faithlyn Haught, Kayden, Jaylynn, Mazylynn and Stetszyn Tennant; great-grandchild Theodore Cooper; brother E.A. “Punch” Tennant (Annette) of Westminster MD, and special friends that were family; Donna Richards, Kimberly, Rick, Nicholas, Hayden and Hunter Wasmer.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Franklin Harris; sister Irene Athey; brothers Charles and William “Bill” Tennant; son Lloyd Tennant, and special friend Beau Wasmer.

As per Louise’s wishes, a private family memorial will be held at a later time.
