Jacqueline Rose Parsons

Jacqueline Rose Parsons, 93, of Wood County, West Virginia, passed away peacefully on May 12, 2026, in Parkersburg, West Virginia.

She was born on August 4, 1932, in Parkersburg, West Virginia, the daughter of Freda Armstrong Marquis and Homer Marquis. Jacqueline devoted her life to caring for her family as a loving homemaker. She married the love of her life, Keith Eugene Parsons, at the age of 15, and together they built a devoted family and lasting legacy.

Jacqueline was a faithful member of Broadway Church of the Nazarene for more than 40 years. She was known for her strong faith, caring heart, and unwavering dedication to her children, grandchildren, and extended family.

She is survived by her sons, Allan E. Parsons (Gina) of Mineral Wells, Anthony “Tony” W. Parsons (Misti), and Randy L. Parsons (Vicki); her daughter, Tammy D. Parsons of Parkersburg; 10 grandchildren; a sister Joan Thompson of Tennessee; survived by daughter in law and best friend, Ginger Dowler; 18 great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Keith Eugene Parsons; her brothers, William “Bill” Marquis and James “Jim” Marquis; and her granddaughter, Vanessa Lynn Parsons.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, 1934 Dupont Road, Parkersburg, West Virginia. Burial will follow the service. Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., at the funeral home.
