Mary Emogene Wright, 91, of Parkersburg, passed away May 7, 2026, at her residence. She was born December 6, 1934, at Sherman, WV, a daughter of the late Robert B. and Rosa Marty Robinson.

Mrs. Wright was a kind caring person who looked after and cared for many folks all her life. She worked as a Certified Nurses Assistant for several years at Ohio Valley Health Care. Her family was most important to her and she enjoyed spending time with all of them.

Surviving are her children: Karen Boyles (Adam), Kathy Sprouse (Dave), Randy Wright (Tammy) and Kathy Brockway (Barry), grandchildren: Robert Hoce (Adrienne), Christopher Hoce (Alana), Tessa Boyles (Justin), Ashley Sprouse (Matt), Jessica Tucker (Cameron), Kayla Brockway (Charles), Christopher Brockway (Emma), Chance Wright (Erica), Bailey Wright, Sydney Wright and Tyler Moore (Madison) along with great grandchildren: Faithen Beagle (Brian), Levi Hoce, Isaiah Hoce, Kayla Hoce, Maddie Hoce, Jacob Boyles (Erica), Jonathan Boyles, Adalyn Boyles, Colten Sprague (Tori), Colin Tucker, Archie Brockway, Haylie Parsons, Emmett Moore and Steven Moore, great-great grandchildren: Finley and Braden Beagle, Braxton and Hudson Boyles and Stetson Hoce.

Mrs. Wright also leaves behind three siblings: Edith Pinkston, Steve Robinson and Jim Robinson with a special niece Lindsey Gum (Roy).

In addition to her parents, Emogene was preceded in death by her husband Alfred Wright, sister Dolly Radcliff, brother Robert Robinson Jr., sister-in-law Judy Robinson, granddaughter-in-law Toni Hoce and great-grandson Jayce Boyles.

Funeral services will be Tuesday 11AM at the Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg with Reverend Ian Reid officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Monday 2-4 and 6-8PM and one hour prior to services.
