Philip Tallman

Philip Austin Tallman, 82, of Parkersburg, died March 28, 2026, at his home.

He was born May 8, 1943, in Alma, WV, a son of the late Merrell and Wilma Tallman.

Philip was Methodist by faith, and he worked for Borg Warner/G E. He dearly loved hunting, fishing, traveling, and bowling.

Philip is survived by his wife of 36 years, Linda (Perkins) Tallman of WV, one daughter, Joy Spencer (Bob) of Parkersburg, WV, two stepsons, Robert Greene of Lenoir, NC, and Phillip Haught of Parkersburg, WV, three grandchildren, Samantha Ridenhour (Jeremy), Alexis Curry (Lex), and Ross Spencer (Chelsy), seven great-grandchildren, Landon, Connor, and Kylie Ridenhour, Maylee, Meadow, and Ridge Curry, and Demi Hodges.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Jeffrey Tallman, brother, Dr. Terry Tallman, and granddaughter, Taylor Green.

A private family viewing will be held at the family’s convenience.
