Jackie Lee “Jack” McDonald

Jackie Lee “Jack” McDonald, 83, of Vienna, passed away Friday April 3, 2026, his residence. He was born in Wood County, a son of the late Charles H. and D. Elsie (Cline) McDonald.

He retired from Value City Furniture and was a member of Big Tygart Baptist Church. He spent the majority of his adult years doing body work on cars and had worked for several different body shops in the area. He enjoyed wood working and working with his hands.

He is survived by his wife Mary Cindy McDonald; two daughters Cynthia Collins (Kyle) of Belpre and Teri Copen (Sean) of Williamstown; son Curtis L. McDonald of Vienna; two grandchildren Eli Copen and Josh Hall; and three great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by four brothers Lester, Glen, Rolla, and Edward McDonald; two sisters Lois Patterson and Lucille Emerick; an infant brother; and an infant sister.

A memorial service will be held 1:00 PM Friday, April 17, 2026, at Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg with Pastor Rod Blanchard officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Inurnment will be at a later date at Big Tygart Cemetery.
