Doris L. Hoselton

Doris L. Hoselton, 90, was born on July 12, 1935, to the late Jennie and George W. Wofe. She passed away on March 31, 2026, at her residence surrounded by family. Doris will be remembered as fun loving and a friend to all animals.

She was a dedicated employee to the Bureau of Fiscal Services until her retirement.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her three daughters Sheryl Carpenter (Doug) Susan Abdella, Sandy Carpenter (Mike) and grandchildren: Howard Lockhart (Barbie), Pickerington, OH, Tim Abdella (Samantha) Belpre, OH, Jamie Shafer (Joe) Virginia Beach, VA, Micheal Pingston (Brittany), Vincent, OH, Samye Gray (Tae) Fredericksburg, VA, and Morgan Carpenter; her great – grandchildren: Emma, Addie & Archer, Gavin, Chloe & Cohen, Cameron, Aj, Foster, Leo, and Josey.

She is preceded in death by her parents, George and Jennie, Brother Billy, and her Son in Law W. Tim Abdella.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the GFWC Belpres, Woman’s Club, Music by the River Concert Series at, 1501 Putman Howe Drive, Belpre, Ohio 45714.

Visitation will be Monday April 6th from 5p.m. – 8 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home Funeral services will be Tuesday, April 7th, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens.
