Deborah Ann Pence

Deborah Ann Pence was born Feb. 11, 1950, and passed away unexpectedly on April 1, 2026.

Debbie devoted her life to taking care of others. She was a registered nurse for decades at local hospitals. She was a devoted mother and grandmother to Joe Munoz, his wife Mika and children Greyson, Beau, Leo and Gus; Kachina Munoz, her children Molly and Emmy; Melba Alkire, her children Anna and Canyon; Fisher Pence and Noah Munoz. They all cherish their mother and the memories of countless sacrifices she made throughout her life for them and the joy they shared as a family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Wilma Pence. Her siblings Sherry Fosselman, Rick Pence, Steve Pence, Fred Pence and Jim Pence survive their beloved sister.

Additionally, the extended Pence Family of Debbie’s nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends shall remember all the good times they spent with her as Debbie cherished her time with loved ones.

She also owned three family dogs (Shadow, Sage, Jax) that provided her with companionship for many years.

All who knew Debbie will greatly miss the special person she was throughout her life and pray for the repose of her soul in heaven.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to WV Special Olympics as those with disabilities always held a special place in Debbie’s heart.
