Ronald A. Crites, 69, passed away on March 15, 2026, at The Pavilion in Piketon, OH.

He was born on January 16, 1957, at the Crites home place on Buck Run Road, Mineral Wells, WV. He was the son of the late Vance H. and Queen Elizabeth Crites.

Ron worked at K Mart for 36 years. He was a former member of the Mineral Wells volunteer Fire Department. Ron’s passion was hunting and karaoke music.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his brother, Bill (Janet) Crites of Lubeck, nieces; Debbie Conger of Parkersburg, Cynthia (Tom) Richards of Elizabeth, Teresa (Sean) Law of Mineral Wells; nephews, Don (Tracy) Crites of Thompson, OH, David (Karen) Post of Mineral Wells, and Darin Crites of Mineral Wells.

Ron was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Carol Post (2017); brother, Clayton Crites (2021) and brother-in-law, David A. Post (2009).

A private family service will be held per Ron’s request with burial to follow.
