Kimberly Sue Piersol

Kimberly Sue Piersol, 63, of Parkersburg, passed away Thursday, March 19, 2026, at Marietta Memorial Hospital. She was born in Parkersburg a daughter of the late George I. and Lena (Tuttle) Whitehead.

She was a homemaker and member of Vienna Baptist Church. She enjoyed flea markets and painting things.

She is survived by her husband of eleven years Don Piersol; daughter April Michele Life of Parkersburg; son Curtis Brookover (Kasey) of Vienna; four grandchildren Christopher and Daniel Life, and Weston and Adeline Brookover; stepdaughter Christie Piersol; step granddaughter Willow Piersol; seven siblings Delores Strahler (Bob), George Whitehead, Jr., Mary Smearman (Jeff), Roger Whitehead (Jeanie), Diane Heaney (Chuck), Sophia Thomas (Bill), and Geraldine White (Steve); and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two siblings Leslie and James Whitehead.

Services will be Wednesday 11:00 AM at Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg with Pastor Bill Brown and Brent Duncan officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday 2-4 and 6-8 PM.
