Douglas S. Burkey, age 73, of Raleigh, NC, passed away on March 7, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer. Doug was born in Parkersburg, WV on July 27, 1952, to Mary Wines Burkey and Carl Burkey Jr. He was a kind, loving, and devoted son, husband, father, and grandfather who will be greatly missed by many.
