Daniel Stephen “Steve” Graham

Daniel Stephen “Steve” Graham, 72, of Parkersburg, WV, passed away March 13, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born February 23, 1954, in Grantsville, WV, he was the son of the late Bud Graham and Dorothy McCune Graham. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Mike Graham.

Steve attended Glenville State College and worked as an Engineer Surveyor for the City of Parkersburg from August 1, 1979, until his retirement on August 31, 2025.

He was a devoted father and grandfather who loved attending his grandchildren’s sporting events, earning the title of proud “sports grandpa.” He took advantage of every opportunity he had to support his family. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, drawing blueprints, reading, especially history, and was a lifelong fan of the Atlanta Braves and Cincinnati Bengals.

He is survived by his sons, Jason Graham and Matthew Graham; seven grandchildren, Rhylea, Taylor, Logan, Addison, Olive, Kali, and Violet; siblings, Betty Jo (Tom) Lemon, Roger (Miriam) Graham, Ed Graham, Mary (Boyd) Shrader, Ruth (Dale) Shrader, and Tony (Tammy) Graham; along with many nieces and nephews.

A viewing will be held Wednesday, April 1, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, followed by a Celebration of Life service from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at South Baptist Church, 1655 Blizzard Drive, Parkersburg, WV, with Pastor Rich Blain officiating. A reception will follow from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the church for friends and family.
