Berdena Phillips

Berdena Phillips, 91, passed away March 6, 2026 at her home in Grove City, OH. She was born and raised in Rockbridge, OH.

She served her church as pianist and organist. She also loved playing her accordion and guitar as well. She loved to entertain her family and friends with her yodeling. She retired from St. Joseph’s Hospital.

She is survived by her children Bruce, Brenda (Dave Swiger), Faith Evans, Roger (Lisa), and Lori Cormany; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents Ralph and Vergie (Pittman) Flowers; her husband of sixty-four years John Phillips; brothers David, Gerald, John, Leonard, Howard, and Lawrence; and sister Gladys.

Services will be Thursday 1:00 PM at Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery North. Visitation will be Thursday 11 AM to 1 PM.
