Alan Dale Kieffer
Alan Dale Kieffer, 84, of Ravenswood, West Virginia, passed away Sunday, March 1, 2026, at WVU Medicine Camden Clark Center, Parkersburg, West Virginia.
He was born in Jackson County, West Virginia, a son of the late Wilber “Buzz” and Beulah Cross Kieffer.
Alan was a veteran of the United States Army 101st Airborne. He was a talented mechanic and played the banjo. He was employed by and dedicated to Harley Davidson but worked on boats as well.
His memory will be carried by his son, Alan Dale “Buzz” Kieffer II; grandchildren, Jase Proudfoot and Jaxen Proudfoot; nephew, Jason Kieffer (Lorene); great-nephew, Arlo Kieffer; brothers, Steven Darrel Kieffer (Vicki) and David Lee Kieffer; and other loved ones.
In addition to his parents, Alan was preceded in death by his daughter, Renae Susanne Kieffer; one brother, Stanley M. Kieffer; and sister, Judith Ann Kieffer.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 14, 2026, at Vaughan Kimes Funeral Home with Military Honors by American Legion Post 15. Interment will follow at Mount Zion Cemetery Jackson County. A visitation of family and friends will be observed from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, March 13, 2026, at the funeral home.
