Everett (Ed) Snyder Sr.

Everett (Ed) Snyder Sr., 83, of Parkersburg, WV. passed away February 13, 2026, at West Virginia University Hospital.

Ed was born June 1, 1942. in Gilmer County, son of the late Edgar and Nina Adams Snyder.

He graduated from Cairo High School. He proudly served in the United States Army. He retired from Pleasant Power Stations.

He is survived by his wife, Evelyn Davis Snyder; son, Everett (Ed) Snyder Jr.; daughter, Lori Snyder; granddaughter, Morgan Snyder; grandson, Austin Snyder, both of Salt Lake City, Utah; brother, Sam Snider from Indiana; sister Leone (Charles) Carte from Ohio and sister-in-law, Rosalee Snyder.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers Joe Snyder, Gary Snyder; sister, Joy Snyder; half-brother, Art Snyder; half-sisters, Lucille Satterfield and Loretta Koehnlein.

Funeral services will be 1 PM Thursday February 19, 2026, at Sunset Memorial Funeral. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Wednesday February 18, 2026, from 4 PM to 7 PM at the funeral home.
