Sandra Helen Flud

May 10, 1950 – January 26, 2026

Sandra Helen Flud of Parkersburg, West Virginia, passed away peacefully on January 26, 2026, after a long battle with cancer. She was born on May 10, 1950, to Vearl and Bessie Shultz.

She is survived by her loving husband, Dale Flud of Parkersburg, WV, and her five children: Scott Cox (Dot), John Cox (Stephanie), Joe Cox (Joanna), Chuck Cox (Jenny), and Crystal Vance (Terry). Sandra cherished a close and meaningful bond with each of her children and was blessed with fourteen grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.

Sandy enjoyed walking her dog, Bing, in the City Park, crafting, and capturing memories through photography whenever she had the chance. She was a member of Jefferson Baptist Temple.

In accordance with her wishes, Mrs. Flud donated her remains to the WVU Human Gift Registry. She has now been welcomed into the loving arms of her Savior, and her legacy of faith, love, and family will continue to live on.
