Patty Lou Wright Conrad, 91, of Coolville, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, December 30, 2025. Patty, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, was born on March 29, 1934 in Parkersburg, West Virginia. Patty was a graduate of Parkersburg High School and Hocking College Nursing School. Patty married Kenneth E. Conrad 71 years ago on June 7, 1954 in Austin, Texas. They have four children, Judy (Brien) Burke, Mark (Chris) Conrad, Gary (Debbie) Conrad and Joy Kenny. In addition to her children and Kenneth, Patty is survived by four grandchildren, Taylor, Allyson, Patty and Lacy, and one great-grandson Oliver. Patty was preceded in death by her parents Alice and Harry Wright, brothers Roy Wright and Chester Wright, and is survived by brother Robert Wright and sister Patsy (B. Wayne) Caltrider.

Patty was a member of the Vanderhoof Jolly Workers and the Vanderhoof Baptist Church. After raising her children, Patty continued her education and then worked twenty years as a Registered Nurse serving area hospitals, home health organizations and as the Director of Nursing at Arcadia Nursing Center.

Patty was an accomplished seamstress, crafter, gardener and cook, and will be remembered as a compassionate, generous and committed champion of her loved ones who will be fiercely missed by many.

The family extends heartfelt gratitude for the caregivers at Shrivers Hospice and Arcadia Valley Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation.

The family invites loved ones to attend a celebration of Patty’s life to be held at a future date.
